The Crystal Ball Gala is a black tie evening in support of the Limestone Learning Foundation. A dinner, auction, concert and much more October 24, 2015 at the Rogers K-Rock Centre in downtown Kingston. Your evening itinerary:

5:30 pm reception, 6:45 pm gala opening numbers, 7 pm dinner service begins, 10 pm live auction, 10:45 dancing


Talented students of the Limestone District School Board (LDSB) will have the opportunity of a lifetime to create with, and be mentored by, renowned professionals in several disciplines: music, visual arts, photography, interior, fashion and set design, journalism, television, web and radio broadcasting, and architecture. Forty-five professionals selected 54 elementary and secondary students from 20 different LDSB schools from Napanee to Cloyne, Kingston and in between will participate in the Crystal Ball's unique mentorship program. Congratulations to these talents students.

Crystal Ball Concert - Sunday, October 25, 2015 - 3 pm @ Stages:

The Crystal Ball will extend to a two-day extravaganza this year, with the addition of an all-ages concert for the larger community to enjoy on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Stages Nightclub, brought to you by Johnson Insurance. The concert will feature the 11 musical mentorships and special guests. the concert will begin at 3 pm and tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased online through Snapd.com or at the door on Sunday, October 25.

The Crystal Ball will once again allow student musicians to participate in a professional recording session slated for early September at the Tragically Hip’s Bathouse Recording Studio. Each student (together with his/her mentor) will see the inside of a professional studio and record their performance in advance. All songs will be brought together on a commemorative compilation CD will be for sale at the Crystal Ball.

Gala Art Exhibit - October 17 - 23, 2015 at the TETT Centre:

The original artwork co-created by Visual Artists and their students will be exhibited this year at the Tett Centre. The Crystal Ball Art Exhibit is one more way for the community to participate in the Crystal Ball’s unique mentorship experience. An opening reception will be held on October 17, 2015 from 5 pm - 8 pm. We are pleased to partner with MaxSold.com online auction services to offer gala guests, and the greater community, the chance to bid online for a variety of items and services, including the one-of-a-kind artwork created by students and their mentors. The Crystal Ball Community Auction goes live October 13 and closes October 23. Everyone may bid on a variety of items and services, donated by our business community. The Crystal Ball Art Auction goes live October 13 and closes October 24 givign the community a chance to bid on all of the collaborative artwork created by our mentors and their students. Exclusive online bidding will continue on the student/mentor artwork during the gala evening October 24. Register online with MaxSold and bring your Smartphone to the gala.
