Johnson Insurance presents Canadian Crystal, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Isabel Bader Centre for Performing Arts.
The Limestone Learning Foundation (LLF) presents Canadian Crystal, a light and sound show celebrating Canadian music and the Arts with our nation's 150th as a backdrop Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Isabel Bader Centre for Performing Arts. This all-Canadian event will offer exquisite food pairings specifically created for this occasion, and a sleek, contemporary entertainment program showcasing the many talents of students from across the Limestone District School Board (LDSB), while raising funds for the Foundation.

As the LLF has successfully done with The Crystal Ball, Canadian Crystal will once again allow student musicians to participate in a professional setting, gaining experience in the production and performance of a theatrical show with valuable input from professional musicians. All elements of the evening will be woven into the commemorative moment of Canada’s 150th.

Tickets for this semi-formal fundraising event is $150 per person, and may be purchased by contacting the Limestone Learning Foundation at 613-544-6925, ext. 210 or email mylesl@limestone.on.ca

STUDENT VOCALISTS:
Congratulations, and thank you, to the over 70 LDSB students who came out to audition for the Canadian Crystal Concert. Show producers are now in the process of calling back some students for a second audition Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the John Deutsch University Centre, Polson Room. Students will contacted through e-mail.

Show producers were overwhelmed with the number and calibre of students who auditioned. To perform on a world-class stage, and be mentored by industry leaders, are life-changing experiences. It is what the Limestone District School Board and the Limestone Learning Foundation is all about. Helping students to discover their passions, and supporting them in their pathway to achieve it.

Although we are not able to offer all students an opportunity to sing in the concert, we encourage all students to continue to grow and develop their talents. Please accept our sincere gratitude for your interest in being involved in the Canadian Crystal Concert.
