Board embarks on new strategic plan
Posted on 11/07/2019
The Limestone Learning Foundation will embark on a new strategic planning process this fall, seeking input from various stakeholders on developing a long-term plan to ensure the Foundation is accountable, equitable and sustainable. This plan will be the blueprint for enhancing learning opportunities for every student of the Limestone District School Board both now, and into the future.

To that end, the LLF will be pausing our regular grant applications this fall.

The LLF is collaborating with Queen’s University and Smith Business Consulting, a student-run management-consulting firm, on this important work. This initiative is powered by CIBC Wood Gundy.

“We have a mission and a set of strategic priorities that guide our work,” says Board Chair Katherine Leverette. “Examining where we are now, will help direct where the Foundation should go next.”

During the coming months, the Board will work through a number of visioning sessions, analyzing objectives on which the Foundation as a whole will focus time, attention and resources.

The LLF will continue to work with its stakeholders to develop priorities, and review the diversity of initiatives that will best serve both students and educators.
