"I am proud of the work the LLF has done to inspire excellence in education by supporting school and classroom initiatives," states Young. "LLF projects provide students with learning opportunities that demonstrate creativity, empowerment, equity and inclusion."

"I am honoured to serve, and look forward to introducing Health and Wellness to the Foundation's areas of impact, strengthening the strategic pillars of Mentorship, Sustainability and Pay it Forward for which the LLF is well known," adds Young.

Mr. Young is a partner at Secker Ross & Perry LLP, a locally owned and managed public accounting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. In addition to volunteer work
with various organizations in the area, Adam enjoys spending time outdoors with his spouse and two chil
dren.

In response to a changed world of learning for students and teachers in the Limestone District School Board the LLF amended its Strategic Plan to include health and wellness as a focus area for funding.

With this amendment, the Foundation expands its ability to offer an even wider expanse of needs - needs that are, as a result of the unforeseen circumstances of the COVID - 19 pandemic changes, "essential" to the well - being and health of LDSB students. At this time, the LLF is proud to align itself with the Food Sharing Project.
