The NASA mentorship program at Napanee District Secondary School fosters confidence and learning in math and sciences through a variety of workshops and one-on-one activities. The NASA mentors, who are senior science students, participate in a number of Queen’s University and Loyalist College science, technology, engineering and mathematics outreach events, and then share their new learning with the grade 9s as well as grades 7 and 8 students from feeder schools.
