Celebrating 26 Years of Generosity, Connection, and Impact
This year marked the 26th anniversary of the Sandra Davison Memorial Golf Tournament, a cornerstone fundraising event for the Limestone Learning Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, players, and volunteers, the tournament raised $35,000 in support of innovative classroom initiatives across LDSB schools. For more than a quarter of a century, this event has honoured Sandra’s legacy by investing in students’ futures, and we look forward to many more years of making a difference together.
Sounds aBound ORFF Kits
This fall, the Limestone Learning Foundation is excited to provide first stage funding of $87,500 for the new “Sounds Abound ORFF Kits”. This project will include training for educators and brings hands-on music learning to students in the elementary schools within the Kingston and surrounding areas. For more than 25 years, LLF has supported LDSB schools with a wide range of academic tools and resources made possible through continued generous public donations.
2025-2026 Board Member Update
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Tony Gifford and Elizabeth Crothers for their many years of dedicated service and support on the LLF Board of Directors. Their contributions have made a lasting impact, and they will be greatly missed. At the same time, we are pleased to extend a warm welcome to Curtis Davison (son of Sandra Davison), who officially joined the LLF Board in September 2025. We look forward to the insight and passion he brings to continuing his mother’s legacy of supporting students.
