The Canadian Crystal was an extraordinary and memorable evening set against the backdrop of Canada's 150th. From the moment guests arrived at The Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts, they were treated to creative décor, student art exhibits and delicious canapés inspired by our land, coast-to-coast-to-coast. The Isabel offered the Canadian Crystal a venue to perfectly stage the three-act extravaganza. View a highlight video of the event.

Act I - Truth North: Canapés inspired by our land, coast-to-coast-to-coast, created by

Act II - Oh, Canada! A Musical Journey: All-Canadian Concert featuring students of the Limestone District School Board

Act III - Strong & Free: Celebration of the Foundation's vision - reflection and celebration with music performed by Lil Magic and the Wise 5, fronted by Reid Cunningham, a graduate of the Limestone District School Board

CANADIAN CRYSTAL ONLINE AUCTION hosted by maxsold.com was an incredible success, raising over $33,000 for the Limestone Learning Foundation. We can't thank auction donors and bidders alike for their support.

As the LLF has successfully done with The Crystal Ball, Canadian Crystal  once again allowed student musicians to participate in a professional setting, gaining experience in the production and performance of a theatrical show with valuable input from professional musicians. All elements of the evening were woven into the commemorative moment of Canada's 150th.

The highlight of the evening was Oh, Canada! - a multi-media concert, featuring original music and other Canadian classics, performed by students of the Limestone District School Board, and mentored by a group of professional musicians. The LLF was pleased to have the incredible talents of Alexandra Mundy, John Abrams, Tim Stiff and Greg Runions producing the show. Short video clips of the student performances are posted on the Canadian Crystal Facebook page and limestonelearningfdn Instagram account.

On behalf of the Limestone Learning Foundation and the Canadian Crystal team, we thank our community for making the event such a huge success.
